Only 4x4s are allowed on F-roads. We have Dacia Duster, Kia Sorento, Kia Sportage, Land Rover Defender, Toyota Land Cruiser, and VW Caravelle 4×4 available.
- Which car should I rent to drive in Reykjavik?
To drive in Reykjavik, a 2WD is perfectly fine. We have a variety of those available from the smaller models like Toyota Aygo to the Small SUVs like Mazda CX-30.
- Which car should I rent to drive to the Golden Circle?
In Summer you can drive the Golden Circle in a small car/2WD, though a 4×4 would be recommended due to the additional safety and space. For winter, a 4×4 is highly recommended due to the slippery conditions and potential of snow.
- Can I rent an electric car in Iceland?
Yes. You can choose the Tesla for a pure electric car. Whilst we also have multiple hybrid cars available such as the Hybrid Land Rover Defender.
